We all agree that God is magnificent, but in Psalm 8 David reveals the ways in which God's magnificence is shocking and unexpected. Listen as Pastor Garth explains the shocking nature of God's majesty. 

What does a genuine confession of sin look like? How can we know we've truly confessed our sins with broken hearts to be reconciled to God? Pastor Garth answers these questions and more from Psalm 51.

Psalm 1 asks and answers this question: How can I be happy? There seem to be many options, but the author of this Psalms wants us to understand that the wisdom of the world does not lead to happiness but ruin. Rather, by loving and obeying the word of God do we find true happiness. 

The world says we should be humble for the sake of being humble. But the Bible tells us there is a great reward for those who humble themselves before God! In this message Pastor Garth shows us from Mark 10:35-45 the true reward for being humble. 

This Sunday's message examined an action by Jesus that in the ancient world was considered so lowly and demeaning that even the lowest slaves in the household did not wish to do it, and yet Christ himself willfully performed the action: Feet washing. This action was synonymous with slavery and that is the point: Christ, the King of creature, became a slave for his creatures to cleanse them from sin and redeem them to himself. This is an incredible picture of Jesus practicing humility that we are commanded to follow. 

Pride is nothing to celebrate! It is something we ought to confess. The bible tells us to pursue humility, not pride. The greatest example of humility for us is Jesus Christ himself. Listen as Pastor Garth explains exactly how Christ was humble and how we can be as well.
